Group: New Concept Development

As shown from our track breakdown our concept has changed quite a lot from what is was at our pitch stage.
Through our pitch feedback and conversations with teachers and peers, we gathered a few main points which helped to lead us to our new idea:

• The reverse idea was too complicated and confusing, and from feedback we could see our target audience did not like it.
• When listening to our track again we decided our idea was a bit sad and didn't fit that well.
• We decided our idea should be more edgy and this led us to the idea of rebellious teens, and the we liked the idea of one maybe influencing the other to be bad.
• We thought it would be more interesting if it was the female character who was a bad influence because this is seen less in music videos and would therefor be more ideologically disabling.
• Once we came up with this it was easy to think of the type of thing that rebellious teens would do.
• However, we still wanted to use the colour in the same way we were going to in our previous idea so we have linked it so it will still work effectively.
